How it works

Three steps. Ten seconds.

No searching foods one by one, no weighing everything you eat.

  1. Analysing…

    01

    Snap a photo

Of your plate, the label or the barcode. You can also describe it with your voice.

    • Grilled chicken · 150 g248 kcal
    • White rice · 120 g156 kcal
    • Salad with olive oil · 90 g95 kcal

    02

    AI does the maths

It recognises each food, estimates the portion and works out calories, protein, carbs, fat and fibre. If something's off, you adjust it.

  2. Left for today

    46 g of protein

A Greek yoghurt and a handful of walnuts cover it.

    03

    Know what you're missing

See straight away what's left for today, counting your workout, and what to eat to get there.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

When does it launch?

The beta starts as soon as the first group is ready. We invite people in batches following the order of the list and we'll let you know by email.

Is it free?

Yes: the beta is free and we don't ask for a card. If there's ever a paid version, we'll say so well in advance and we'll never charge you unless you choose it.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes, on both. During the beta it runs through Expo Go, a free app on the App Store and Google Play: we send you a link, you open it and that’s it.

Which watches does it work with?

Workouts from Garmin, Polar, Suunto and Wahoo come in automatically through intervals.icu, a free platform. With any other watch or band, like the Apple Watch, you log the workout with the calories or heart rate it shows and the app does the maths with that data.

What do you do with my data?

We only use your email for the beta. In the app, your meals, weight and workouts are stored on your phone; photos are sent only to be analysed and we don’t keep them. The details are in the privacy policy.

Is the AI accurate?

It's a very good estimate, but it's an estimate: you can always adjust the grams and everything updates instantly. With the label or the barcode, the figures are the ones on the pack.

Does it replace a dietitian?

No. Eatlas helps you know what you eat, but it isn't medical advice. If you have a health condition or an eating disorder, please talk to a professional.

Are you in?

Leave your email and we'll let you know as soon as it's your turn.
